Put the Work In

Steven Spielberg on Storyboarding

Sadly there is no alternative to putting the work in for creative and entrepreneurial ventures. Serendipity and luck are devious mistresses who come and go of their own volition, but rarely. Don’t be deceived by the improbably overnight success or seduced by the “apparent success that took no real effort.”

The more you put into your work, the higher its potential. But you have to keep something else in mind. The sad story is that you can work like a dog and still produce a piece of crap or an honorable, but dismal failure.

Lately I’ve been stepping up my game. ┬áThe results and my confidence have soared. Learn early or learn late, but learn.
