First Lady Jenny Sanford

Jenny Sanford and sons

This woman is my heroine.*

She never trashes the “other” woman.

She doesn’t put her husband down.

She isn’t paddling down the river denial.

She asserts confidence, faith and strength at a difficult time.  It only counts when it really matters.

And THANK GOODNESS, she didn’t stand next to him during the press conference like …  See below:

Exhibit A

Eliot Spitzer and Wife

Exhibit B

Edwards 2008

*  based on her response to this crisis only.

One thing I’ll say about Jenny Sanford: she’s a media hawk. She knows how to play this attention up to her advantage… perhaps it is from all her years as a VP on Wall Street?

Jenny already gave her husband the boot 2 weeks prior (but didn’t mention this until recently). I’m pretty sure she knew where he ran off to, but she said she had no clue… not even on Fathers Day (ouch). If passive aggressiveness can be done in a classy way, she’s got it mastered. And “His career is no concern of mine?” Haha, perfect!

Love this insight TB. She reminds me of a really wicked Oscar Wilde character. And I love it that she has her own money. Shout out to all the ladies who didn’t sacrifice their identity or their coins.
