The Producer’s Challenge is intended to promote the work of emerging storytellers, and aims to deliver exciting new projects to a wider audience and expand the reach of the entertainment community to include the next generation of great producers.

A-list producers will gather at the Produced By Conference to address the state of film, television and new media production, and to share their valuable insights and experiences. Filmmakers can register to participate side-by-side with veterans in more than 30 conference sessions dedicated to all aspects of the producer’s craft – and also be part of the first-ever Mentoring Roundtable Session, where attendees can sit at a table of ten with the producer of their choice and spend over an hour asking whatever questions they like. Additional networking events, technical demonstrations, and vendor displays are slated to take place throughout the weekend.

As producing is a holistic craft, and there is no facet of production a true professional does not touch, films will be judged in their entirety, as cohesive and self-contained pieces of storytelling. Juror considerations may include originality of creative vision, production value, and inventiveness in the face of narrative challenges or technical constraints.

With a world-class professional audience, the Producer’s Challenge has the potential to jump-start a filmmaker’s producing career in a single weekend. Submit today!
