“Thirty states have struck deals with banks that include Citigroup Inc., Bank of America Corp., JP Morgan Chase and US Bancorp to give the unemployed debit cards.”  (Aaron Crowe,

YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!  Where is the outrage people?

It used to be that we just tolerated seeing the marginalized ripped off.  Here’s a good example.  Phone calls from jail have to be dialed collect.  The rates are exorbitant and go to annual commissions to local governments.  The governor of my state, California, refused to lower these rates saying that the state needed the money.

The triumph of the looters and the  pimps is reaching epidemic proportions at every level of American society.    The same banks that are taking bail out money, the same banks that brought us redlining, the same banks who – well, you get the picture.  Those same banks are now looting the unemployed.

I think we’re way overdue for a citizens revolt or revived union movement.  The big folks are like one of my exes – just not going to do right, no matter what the consequences, even if it hurts them.

Watch as well as pray people.
