Hoodwinked

I’ve been took, hoodwinked, and bamboozled.

I was watching Taken 2. And as usual I was irritated by the white female protagonists. Why doesn’t they just listen and obey when that manly and supremely competent Liam Neeson gives them life-saving marching orders?

They are hysterical, unreasonably, spoiled, demanding, whiny … The only fully on the ball woman is a maid who radios security.

Whoa! Straight out of the Victorian playbook.

Great scott. The movies have biased me against white women.  I’ll have to watch my guilty pleasures with more care.
