I’ve been took, hoodwinked, and bamboozled.
I was watching Taken 2. And as usual I was irritated by the white female protagonists. Why doesn’t they just listen and obey when that manly and supremely competent Liam Neeson gives them life-saving marching orders?
They are hysterical, unreasonably, spoiled, demanding, whiny … The only fully on the ball woman is a maid who radios security.
Whoa! Straight out of the Victorian playbook.
